Fall 2018 Update!

A new academic year has brought a host of changes! A few weeks ago, I started teaching at The Ohio State University School of Music. The students there have been incredibly welcoming, and are a joy to work with. I'm also pleased to start working with a new orchestra: I recently won an audition to join the Akron Symphony for the 2018-19 season as Principal Trombone. I’ll start playing there in December.

As I write this update, I’m sitting in a car dealership in Brighton, Michigan getting my 60,000 mile service. The regional orchestra game really racks up the miles, I’ve only had the car for three years! I’m in Michigan this week for our season opener with the Lansing Symphony; we’re playing The Pines of Rome in a couple of days. If you’re in the area, you should come check us out!
